As for cities, Santiago de Chile, the capital, is a place you must visit. Other cities that are worth visiting are Valparaíso, Puerto Varas, Punta Arenas, Puerto Montt and Viña del Mar.

There is a place in Chile that deserves honorable mention. That place is Easter Island, natively known as Rapa Nui. In Easter Island you can visit the famous moais which are huge statues with a humanoid shape.

Torres del Paine National Park is one of Chile’s main tourist attractions and the reason why many travelers from all over the globe visit the country. It is located in the southern part of the Chilean Patagonia. The most popular way to visit the park is by hiking one of its many trails such as the W trail or the O trail. Thanks to these multi-day hikes, you will have the opportunity to visit glaciers, mountains, lagoons, viewpoints and the base of Torres del Paine.

VALPARAISO

Valparaíso is located on the coast of Chile, 115 kilometers from Santiago de Chile. This town is known for its hills with picturesque cobbled streets. The houses located on the hills are very colorful. I recommend walking through Alegre and Concepción hills. You should also visit Casa Museo La Sebastiana. This museum was once owned by famous poet, Pablo Neruda.
