Cliffs, small villages and wild waters are just some of the components of this famous coastline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to stay in Costa da Morte, I recommend one of the following towns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-staying-in-finisterre-a-coruna\">Staying in Finisterre (A Coru\u00f1a)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u21a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/searchresults.en.html?city=-382499&amp;aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Search for hotels in Finisterre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">On one of my recent trips to Galicia, I stayed in Finisterre, a place once thought to be the end of the world. This small coastal town completely stole my heart\u2014I honestly can\u2019t say enough good things about it.<br><br>While you\u2019re there, take some time to wander around the port, explore the charming streets of the old town, walk up to the famous Finisterre Lighthouse, and treat yourself to the delicious local food.<br><br>If you\u2019re into beaches, Langosteira is great for a swim or a peaceful walk\u2014it\u2019s also the biggest beach in town. But my personal favorite was Mar de F\u00f3ra beach. It\u2019s wild, unspoiled, and surrounded by nature. You can\u2019t swim there, but it\u2019s the perfect spot for a picnic, a sunset, or just relaxing and taking it all in.<br><br>Not far from Finisterre, you\u2019ll find the \u00c9zaro waterfall and the beautiful Gures beach\u2014both are well worth a visit.<br><br>If you\u2019re planning to stay overnight, here are some great places to consider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/apartamentos-turisticos-insua-finisterre.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Apartamentos VIDA Finisterre<\/a> (my hotel).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/o-semaforo.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Hotel o Semaforo<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/cabanas-fisterra.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Caba\u00f1as Fisterra<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-staying-in-malpica-a-coruna\">Staying in Malpica (A Coru\u00f1a)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u21a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/searchresults.en.html?city=-390870&amp;aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Search for hotels in Malpica<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the northern end of Costa da Morte and 50 km from A Coru\u00f1a is the coastal town of Malpica. Apart from getting lost in its streets, I recommend visiting Torres de Mens, the Church of Santiago de Mens, and the Hermitage of San Adri\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for beaches, in Malpica you will find the beach of Area Maior and the beach of Seaia. Other places like Betanzos, Doni\u00f1os Beach, the Hermitage of Santa Comba, San Andr\u00e9s de Teixido, or Vix\u00eda de Herbeira will drive you crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">I recommend several towns where you can stay in R\u00edas Altas, one inland and two on the coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-staying-in-carino-a-coruna\">Staying in Cari\u00f1o (A Coru\u00f1a)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u21a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/searchresults.en.html?city=-376200&amp;aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtsgalicia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Search for hotels in Cari\u00f1o<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cari\u00f1o is a small coastal town with a lot of charm located in the region of Ortegal. Although the town itself is very nice, the best of Cari\u00f1o is its incredible natural environment, full of beaches and cliffs. One of the most impressive is the cliffs of Vix\u00eda de Herbeira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don&#8217;t miss the Cabo Ortegal Lighthouse either. This municipality in Lugo stands out for its cathedral, built in the thirteenth century and in Romanesque style.
