At the northernmost tip of the bay, you&#8217;ll find a green hill, which is ideal for a walk or to sit on one of its benches and enjoy the views during sunset. Additionally, it hosts a small playground, an old chapel, and a beach bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;d like, you can continue your walk to the Sainte-Barbe neighborhood or have a picnic on the grass while enjoying the stunning views of the Bay of Saint Jean de Luz with the Pyrenees mountains in the background. To reach it, I suggest walking along the Jacques Thibaud promenade. Here, you&#8217;ll find one of this town&#8217;s most famous postcard-like views, featuring the typical Basque homes with walkways connecting them to the promenade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lighthouse was designed by architect Andr\u00e9 Pavlosky and built in 1936. From it, you&#8217;ll have lovely views of the other side of the harbor. Other places you shouldn&#8217;t miss along the promenade are the iconic Grand H\u00f4tel Thalasso &amp; Spa and the Casino JOA de St-Jean-de-Luz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-10-saint-jean-de-luz-beach\">10.
