With a bit of planning, it\u2019s more than enough time to see a lot and dive into some truly interesting experiences, even beyond the usual tourist spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the time of year you choose to visit, the itinerary can be adjusted accordingly, especially if you&#8217;re aiming for more beach time during the summer months, or leaning toward city exploring in the fall, spring, or winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In summer, the island gets really crowded, although the plans and activities are top-notch. During other seasons, the heat eases up, but there\u2019s less going on. Many places close outside the peak summer months. Personally, I really like May and June, when the weather is warm but not too hot, and the crowds haven\u2019t fully arrived yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another key point to consider is transportation. Renting a car is the best option if you want to get around quickly and comfortably. It\u2019s one of the largest and most accessible beaches in Menorca. While it\u2019s an urban beach, the water is crystal clear, and from here you can easily reach some of the island\u2019s more secluded coves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cala Galdana is fully equipped with all the amenities you might need: showers, sunbed rentals, water sports, nearby restaurants, and more. That makes it a great spot for a relaxing morning, especially if you\u2019re traveling with kids or prefer a convenient beach experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boat tours also depart from here to explore other coves along the southern coast. If you enjoy hiking and being in nature, this is an amazing plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Macarella Cove is larger and about a 40-minute walk away. From there, you can reach Macarelleta Cove by following a narrower, steeper path with stone steps. It\u2019s definitely worth the effort. They serve cocktails and play ambient music, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a one-of-a-kind sunset. Sometimes they even have live music or DJ sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cave is located in the Cala en Porter area. This city has a unique charm that\u2019s completely different from what you\u2019ve seen so far on the island, which is why I think it\u2019s a must-visit during your 4-day Menorca trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, I recommend checking out the Mercat des Claustre, set inside a beautifully preserved old cloister. Here, the scents of local island products like sobrasada and cheese mix with music, art, and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you love markets as much as I do, there\u2019s a great little caf\u00e9 inside called Sa Petita, perfect for breakfast or a snack. They serve specialty coffee, matcha and chai tea, amazing toasts, and a\u00e7ai bowls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right around the corner from Mercat des Claustre is another market in Mah\u00f3n called Mercat des Peix. It\u2019s a lively food market where you can enjoy a fun and delicious meal. It\u2019s my favorite spot for lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While in Mah\u00f3n, don\u2019t miss spots like the Church of Santa Mar\u00eda, the Town Hall Square, the Portal de Sant Roc, and the Menorca Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eating by Mah\u00f3n\u2019s harbor is also a fantastic idea. The harbor itself is amazing, and not just in appearance. It\u2019s one of the largest and deepest natural harbors in Europe. It\u2019s a beautiful, well-kept estate with a distinct character. It\u2019s been owned by the Monta\u00f1\u00e9s family since 1843 and is where Pedro Monta\u00f1\u00e9s founded the cheese brand \u201cEl Caser\u00edo\u201d back in 1930.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They offer different tour options, including tastings of their products. You\u2019ll get to see the farm animals and learn all about the cheese-making process. It\u2019s a really enjoyable and interesting experience. It\u2019s a beautiful white seaside village, perfect for wandering through its narrow streets and just taking it all in. The best thing to do here is simply stroll around and soak up the atmosphere. They have a unique charm of their own. Some of the most noteworthy ones are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Playa de Cavalleria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cala Pregonda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arenal Son Saura.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cala Tirant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pick one, or a few, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of Menorca to the fullest.
