If you&#8217;re looking for endless cafes, restaurants, massage centers, and shops, you&#8217;ll find them on every corner here. Berawa, in particular, has a higher concentration of businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the big attractions in Berawa is Finn&#8217;s Beach Club, one of the most famous beach clubs in Bali. While I usually prefer more local spots, Finn&#8217;s is a nice place to grab a drink at sunset or if you&#8217;re in the mood to party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A great thing to do in Berawa, especially at sunset or early in the morning, is to take a walk along the coast. In the evenings, you&#8217;ll often see Balinese families having a great time at the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ruko Cafe and Matcha Cafe Bali are two of my favorite breakfast places in Berawa. Tygr Berawa is an excellent lunch or dinner option if you like sushi too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recommended-hotels-in-berawa\">Recommended hotels in Berawa<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re looking for a place to stay in Berawa, I&#8217;ve got a few hotel recommendations for you. There are plenty of great options, but these ones really stand out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/the-uma-guesthouse.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Uma Guesthouse<\/a>: This place offers rooms with private bathrooms and shared spaces, like a kitchen and a garden with a swimming pool. It\u2019s a cozy spot with a nice, homey feel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/mayana-villas.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mayana Villas<\/a>: Perfect if you\u2019re after a bit more privacy. You can choose from one, two, or three-bedroom villas, and they also have some shared areas for guests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ownvilla.com\/booking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Own Villa<\/a>: Technically, this one\u2019s in Umalas, just a bit outside Berawa. I\u2019m including it because it\u2019s one of the top spots in Bali and definitely worth considering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-canggu-batu-bolong\">2. It\u2019s bustling with a fantastic mix of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The area by the coast is lively too, with lots of bars right by the sea, and Batu Bolong Beach is a top spot for surfing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One place you definitely don\u2019t want to miss is Old Man&#8217;s, right across from Batu Bolong Beach. It\u2019s perfect for an afternoon drink, and if you\u2019re out at night, the party atmosphere is electric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Echo Beach is another favorite of mine. Catching the sunset here is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/comeamaviaja.com\/en\/things-to-do-in-bali\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">best things you can do in Canggu<\/a>. And while you&#8217;re there, check out The Breeze, a top beach club right on the beach. We often prefer the local stalls on the beach for a more relaxed vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it comes to food, there are a ton of great options. For authentic Balinese food, Warung Local is fantastic. If you\u2019re in the mood for Japanese, Ji Restaurant Bali is a must. HoiAn by MeVui offers delicious Vietnamese cuisine. For sushi, Tygr Canggu is the place to go, and Fucina Bali does amazing Italian. Luigi\u2019s Hot Pizza is also a great spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For breakfast and coffee, you\u2019ve got some great choices: Ithaka Warung, Secret Spot, Crate, Copenhagen Canggu, and BGS are all excellent places to start your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recommended-hotels-in-canggu\">Recommended hotels in Canggu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I recommend some of the best hotels in Canggu, although there are many to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/bali-full-moon-guest-house.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bali Full Moon Guest House<\/a>: This place offers private rooms and shared spaces. They also serve a fantastic breakfast, so you\u2019ll start your day on a good note.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/the-calmtree-bungalows.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Calmtree Bungalows<\/a>: This spot has bungalows that can accommodate 2, 4, or 6 people, as well as a private villa. They have a lovely shared garden and a swimming pool, making it a great spot for relaxing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/kano-canggu.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kano Canggu<\/a>: Here you\u2019ll find beautifully decorated private rooms. You\u2019ll still find rice fields and open land alongside some local spots, giving it a more laid-back feel compared to places like Batu Bolong or Berawa. It\u2019s a great choice if you\u2019re after a quieter stay but still want access to plenty of restaurants and accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would pick Pererenan if I had to choose between Berawa, Canggu, and Pererenan. At night, Canggu and Berawa can be quite noisy. Pererenan provides a calmer atmosphere, and it makes for a great base as can reach anywhere in minutes by hopping on a motorcycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recommended-hotels-in-pererenan\">Recommended hotels in Pererenan<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I recommend some of the best hotels in Pererenan, although there are many options to choose from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/euforia.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Euforia Guest House<\/a>: This place has private rooms and a cozy garden with a pool. It\u2019s a perfect spot to kick back and relax.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/tribal-bali-mengwi.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Tribal Bali<\/a>: With its cool design, Tribal Bali offers both shared and private rooms. They also have some nice shared spaces, including a pool where you can chill out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/pnb-bali-villas.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">PNB Bali Villas<\/a>: If you\u2019re after more privacy, PNB Bali Villas has private rooms and villas. It\u2019s a great option for a more secluded getaway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-staying-in-the-outskirts-of-canggu\">4. But I tend to steer clear of the tourist-heavy spots and prefer somewhere a bit more tranquil and rural. That\u2019s why I usually stay on the outskirts, especially to the north of Raya Canggu, the main road that cuts through the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I recommend this option, especially if you\u2019re planning to stay in Bali for a few weeks. You\u2019ll find better prices and avoid the crowds. It\u2019s really just a matter of personal preference, but I like being a bit removed from the tourist hotspots and getting around on a motorcycle. If you feel the same, this area could be perfect for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-recommended-hotels-in-the-outskirts-of-canggu\">Recommended hotels in the outskirts of Canggu<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below I recommend two hotels where I have stayed for several months and which I highly recommend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/asung-guest-house.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Asung Guesthouse<\/a>: Located between the northern parts of Canggu and Berawa, this guesthouse is run by a wonderfully friendly local family. They\u2019re always ready to help and give you a taste of Balinese culture. You can stay in one of their rooms with a private bathroom, and you\u2019ll also have access to a shared kitchen and a garden with a swimming pool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/id\/umah-cincin.en.html?aid=2221540&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;label=wtscanggu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Umah CinCin<\/a>: If you wish to stay in a villa, Umah CinCin is a fantastic choice. They offer one large private villa and three smaller ones. I spent several months in one of the smaller villas and had an amazing stay.
