Discounts for traveling in 2026: Save on your next trip

Are you looking for the best travel discounts for your next trip? You’ve come to the right place! On this page, you’ll find the best travel deals for 2026, along with promotions and recommendations from companies that can help you save money on your next adventure. These products and services include discounts on accommodation, travel insurance, transportation, and more.

Before we dive in, I want to be clear that all the offers you’ll see below come from companies I use or have used myself and genuinely recommend. In most cases, if you book through the links on my website, I’ll earn a small commission (you’ll pay the same price or sometimes even less), which helps support this project and allows me to keep it going. Thanks in advance for your support!

Best travel discounts

Now let’s get started with the discounts that will help you save some money on your next trip.

Travel insurance at the best price

If you’re traveling to a destination where you don’t have medical coverage, it’s highly recommended to purchase travel insurance. If you end up needing medical care, it could save you a lot of money. Plus, it doesn’t just cover medical emergencies; it also protects you against property damage or trip cancellations.

If you’d like to learn more, you can check out Heymondo travel insurance and the discount available. After comparing many insurance providers, I firmly believe it’s the best option. It’s the company I’ve been using to insure my trips for years and the one I recommend most.

Deals on selected accommodations with Booking

I always use Booking to search for the best places to stay, so it’s the platform I recommend for finding and booking hotels. Thanks to its wide range of search filters, finding good and affordable accommodation is quite easy.

From time to time, Booking also offers discounts of 15% or more on selected properties, especially during special dates or promotions.

I also recommend creating a Booking account, as your level in their loyalty program increases the more reservations you make. I’m currently at Genius Level 3, and when I search for accommodation, some properties show up with exclusive discounts.

On top of these great travel discounts, you may also benefit from free breakfast or a complimentary room upgrade.

Your eSIM at the best price

Holafly is a company that offers eSIMs so you can stay connected while traveling to your destination. They provide eSIMs for over 160 destinations worldwide. Once you purchase the service, you’ll receive a QR code by email along with clear instructions on how to install it. It’s very straightforward.

It can be more expensive than buying a local SIM card at your destination, just so you know. However, for certain trips or countries, I find it a great option for saving time and avoiding unnecessary hassle. Plus, if you purchase your eSIM through the button below, you’ll get a 5% discount using the code “COMEAMAVIAJA”.

No-fee cards for using abroad

One of the smartest things you can do when paying in another currency or withdrawing cash abroad is to get a card with no fees or at least very low fees. I use and recommend the two cards below, as I believe they are the best options for travelers.

N26 Card

This card offers a free plan that’s already very good, though the paid plans are worth considering because of their unbeatable benefits.

If you prefer not to pay a monthly fee, don’t worry. With the free card, you can make purchases in other currencies without fees and withdraw cash in foreign currencies with just a 1.7% fee.

You can apply for this card here:

Revolut

I also really like this other card, especially because it’s so easy to transfer money from your regular account. They also offer a free plan as well as paid plans. I find the free card very comprehensive, as it allows you to make purchases in other currencies and withdraw up to €200 abroad without fees.

You can ask for the card through the button below:

€10 discount for traveling in Europe

Omio is a website and app that lets you easily search for and book trips across Europe by bus, train, plane, or ferry. I especially like that it shows you the price and travel time for each option at a glance, making it easy to compare and choose the best one.

For Omio, I have a €10 discount for new users. You can use this credit when booking your transportation, helping you save a bit on getting to your travel destination.

Compensation for delayed or canceled flights

Did you know that under European regulations, you can receive up to €600 in compensation if one of your flights has been delayed or canceled in the past three years? There’s a website that can help you claim this compensation. It’s called AirHelp.

I used it once when my Air Europa flight was delayed by four hours. My first attempt to claim compensation directly through the airline’s website was met with excuses. I submitted the claim through AirHelp instead and received €250 (slightly less after their commission).

My advice is to try claiming on your own first, and if it doesn’t work, use this company. Or, if you don’t want to deal with it yourself, you can go directly through them from the start.

Other websites to save on your travels

I can’t offer discounts for the following companies because they don’t exist, but I can guarantee that they’ll help you save money on your trips. These platforms are great for finding the best prices.

  • Discover Cars. In my experience, this is the best company for renting cars. They offer a wide range of prices and give you the option to add a comprehensive insurance policy at a good rate.
  • Civitatis. This is the best website for booking free tours. These guided tours don’t have a fixed price; you decide what to pay at the end of the tour.
  • Skyscanner. This is the best platform for finding flights at the lowest prices, thanks to its excellent search tools. However, when it comes to actually booking the flight, I always recommend doing it directly on the airline’s website.
  • GuruWalk. This site is also very useful for finding free tours around the world. In some destinations, it may even have more options than other websites.

I hope this selection of travel discounts and money-saving websites helps you plan your next adventure.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for using any of my codes or links. See you next time!

↠ Book free tours and guided visits on Civitatis or GetYourGuide. I always use these platforms to check what organized activities there are at my destination.

↠ To pay with card in foreign currency or withdraw money from ATMs, I always use this card (there are free and paid plans). It works the best!

↠ Traveling with travel insurance to a destination where you don’t have healthcare coverage is a must. Get your insurance 5% cheaper with this link.

↠ If you want to have cellphone data at your destination from the moment you land and don’t want to waste time, there is nothing like this eSIM. Use the code “comeamaviaja” for a 5% discount.

↠ Check out Booking’s offers, a platform I always use, as I always find very good options thanks to its search engine with filters.

↠ For destinations where I need to rent a car, I always check Discover Cars and Auto Europe search engines. I recommend them!

↠ If you still need to buy flights for your trip, there is no better search engine than Skyscanner (although I always recommend booking the flight on the company’s website).
