- By train. The train connection between Barcelona and Sitges is efficient and comfortable. From the Sants Station in Barcelona, you can take a suburban train, R2 Sud, that will take you to the heart of Sitges in approximately 40 minutes.
- By car. If you prefer the freedom to explore at your own pace, the C-32 highway connects Barcelona and Sitges directly. The drive takes about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
- By bus. Several bus companies, such as Monbus and ALSA, offer regular services from Barcelona Nord Bus Station to Sitges, with a travel time of approximately 50 minutes (the E16 is usually the most regular line between these two points).

Undoubtedly, a great plan is to stay overnight in Sitges. I have to admit that the sunrises there are wonderful. Sitting on the promenade and watching the sun rise over the horizon is a unique combination of energy and relaxation.
There is no shortage of hotels and accommodations. Of course, in high season, it is best to book in advance so there are no problems. From here, we recommend some hotels that look very good, have good reviews, and are well-priced:
- Hotel Galeón: 3-star hotel in the center of town with swimming pool.
- Meliá Sitges: 4-star hotel is a safe bet in the area.
- Hotel Capri: 3-star hotel, centrally located.
Where to eat in Sitges
Eating in Sitges is another matter. It would be very difficult to choose a place because there are many that are very good. We are guided by intuition, and we go to see what most “enters us by the eyes.” In this case, we did it, and it worked out very well.
We chose a small restaurant that had an appetizing menu of the day with sardines and grilled fish. Delicious! The restaurant is called Altamar and has a super cool terrace.
In addition, other usual recommendations are Picnic Sitges or La Maror de Sitges.
Wherever it is, if there is fish, it will be delicious and fresh.
