The change in culture, religion, gastronomy and customs that I can experience by taking a short flight is insane. I hope you are ready to let this wonderful country blow your mind.
You can visit incredible places like the mosques in Istanbul, geological formations in Cappadocia, charming villages in the Mediterranean coast and mountains in the Rize region. Turkey offers destinations for both adventurers and vacationers. Whether you spend a lot of time in the country or not, you will surely enjoy every minute of your trip since there are so many wonderful places to visit.

PLACES TO VISIT IN TURKEY
Tips for every destination
Turkey is a country with great geodiversity. Most people who spend several days in Turkey visit Istanbul, Cappadocia and Pamukkale. However, there are many other interesting destinations.
If you are going to travel to Turkey in the warmer months, you should visit some towns on the Mediterranean coast. Some of the most beautiful are Antalya, Kaş, Bodrum, Alanya, Fethiye and Ölüdeniz. Do not forget to visit Butterfly Valley.
Other places to visit in Turkey are Ephesus, Pergamon, Mount Nemrut, Aspendos, Safranbolu, Ankara, Kure Mountains National Park or the Rize region.

CAPPADOCIA
Known for its striking geological formations and incredible balloon-filled sunrises, Cappadocia has become one of the most visited destinations in Turkey. Getting lost among fairy chimneys, cave churches and underground cities will be an experience you will never forget.
Some of the most amazing places to visit in Cappadocia are Love Valley, Rose Valley, Red Valley, Uçhisar Castle, Devrent Valley, Göreme Open Air Museum, etc. The region has several places to sleep and eat. These are Göreme, Uçhisar, Ürgüp, Ortahisar and Çavuşin.
ISTANBUL
Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve visited and on of the best places to visit in Turkey. Incredible sunsets, stunning mosques, local markets, beautiful streets, viewpoints and the incredible Bosphorus strait, Istanbul has all the ingredients to make you enjoy an unforgettable trip.
Some of the best places tp visit in Istanbul are Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Ortaköy Mosque, Suleiman Mosque, Galata Tower and Balat. The city is full of authentic treasures.
PAMUKKALE
Pamukkale is one of the most visited natural wonders in the country. Here you will find thermal pools located on white terraces. In the pool’s interior, you’ll find hot springs with light blue water rich in minerals. They are located next to Hierapolis, an ancient spa town. I recommend visiting the pools early in the morning to be able to avoid large crawds.
