This will allow you to easily access beautiful beaches and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. You will also have the opportunity to watch beautiful sunsets from the cliffs. Additionally, you will be very close to the Uluwatu area where more shops, restaurants, and cafés are located.
Due to its popularity, prices for accommodation in Bingin can be higher. However, there are plenty of options available. This includes amazing villas but also more modest hotels.

- $$$: Hari Indah Boutique Hotel & Spa. This is one of the best hotels in the area. It has a pool, spa, and restaurant.
2. Padang Padang, the best area to stay in Uluwatu
Padang Padang Beach stands out as a real gem for surf lovers. Renowned for its waves and for having hosted internationally renowned surfing events, this beach and its surroundings are a true paradise for those looking to catch some of the best waves on the island.
However, the attraction of this place goes beyond surfing. Its beach, with stunning rock formations, is one of the most beautiful in Uluwatu. Additionally, it was a filming location for “Eat, Pray, Love”.
Beyond the beach, the region presents a scene with a lively atmosphere thanks to its stores, restaurants, bars, and wellness centers.
A little further south, you’ll find Suluban Beach, another of Uluwatu’s most popular spots for surfing. This entire area is also a great option, as it has several bars, restaurants, and hotels.

- $$$: Oceanna. One of the best hotels in Bali. As much as the rooms, the swimming pool with views will make you have an ideal stay if you decide to stay in this hotel. It is more towards the interior, but surely you enjoy a lot of the surroundings.
- $$$: The Room Padang-Padang. Hotel with common swimming pool and restaurant. What stands out more is its pretty decoration.

3. Ungasan, for a luxurious stay in southern Bali

- $$$: The Tempekan Heritage. 4-star hotel near the coast that has everything you need to enjoy a complete stay: swimming pool, restaurant, gym, breakfast service… They offer double rooms and two-bedroom villas.
- $$$$: Roots Tree House. Hotel located a little further inland where you can sleep in wooden houses among trees. They are beautiful! There is a swimming pool, a restaurant, yoga classes, and a very good breakfast is served.
- $$$$: Bvlgari Resort Uluwatu. 5-star hotel built on a cliff next to the coast and composed of incredible and luxurious villas with several bedrooms. It has a swimming pool with views, a restaurant, a wellness center…
- $$$$$: The Edge Bali. It is probably the most incredible hotel you will find on this list. Its infinity pool built on a cliff is breathtaking and the rest of the facilities are amazing.
4. Balangan, where to stay in Uluwatu
Often overshadowed by more popular destinations such as Bingin and Padang Padang, Balangan is another of the best areas to stay in Uluwatu.
If it is true that its location is not as good, due to the fact that it requires spending a few more minutes on the motorcycle to visit some of the best places in Uluwatu, this allows you to enjoy an even quieter and more authentic atmosphere. On the other hand, accommodations are somewhat cheaper.
Here is the charming Balangan Beach, famous for the viewpoint located at the northern end of the beach. From the top of the cliff, you can see one of the best sunsets on the island. Of course, you should know that there is quite a lot of current; therefore, it is not the most ideal for bathing.
Anyway, very close by you have Dreamland Beach, which is better for swimming and is also great for strolling and watching the sunset.

- $$$: La Cabane. This is one of the most charming hotels in Uluwatu. It has a swimming pool overlooking the sea. Its decoration, which combines wood with white tones, creates a very cozy atmosphere. They offer bungalows and villas, restaurants, and breakfast service.
