1. Iceland, nature in its purest form

This island country in Northern Europe is full of wonderful places to visit. The landscapes you can enjoy in Iceland are so varied that you won’t know where to start. Make sure you spend enough days to visit the must-see places, like volcanoes, geysers, and glaciers.

You cannot miss the Blue Lagoon, the thermal waters that take on that colour due to the minerals in them and are distinguished by emitting smoke. Do not miss the Golden Circle: Thingvellir, from where this island rose geologically; Geysir, the original geyser; and Gullfoss, a place of magical waterfalls. Of course, spend a few days in its capital, Reykjavik, and its lively nightlife.

The good thing about visiting Iceland in July is that there are many hours of daylight, the temperature is more pleasant, and the weather conditions are less extreme. The landscapes are completely different than if you travel in the winter; therefore, it is a country to visit more than once.

Those who are hesitating about where to travel in July should not fail to include Switzerland in their list of possible destinations. This wonderful European country has a unique charm and can boast a nature that is hard to beat. Thanks to the pleasant temperatures at this time of the year, it is an ideal place to go on a summer trip.

Switzerland is one of my favorite countries because it has places that seem to be taken out of a fairy tale. After our 7-day trip to Switzerland, thanks to which I fell in love with the country, I have had the pleasure of returning a couple of times and I can say that it is a country to travel to again and again.

In addition to having cities with a lot to offer, such as Bern, its capital, Lausanne, Lucerne, Zurich or Basel, it has a lot of villages and natural wonders that you can’t miss. I always recommend the Interlaken region, since from there you can visit beautiful places such as the Lauterbrunnen valley, the Grindelwald valley and Jungfraujoch.

3. New York

Whether or not you’ve been to New York before, this city doesn’t need much introduction. New York is one of those places to travel to at least once in a lifetime, and July can be a great option to do so, especially if you want to avoid going in the winter and endure the cold temperatures. During this time of the year, you will be able to enjoy even more outdoor activities as temperatures are higher.

Get ready to walk along Fifth Avenue and its many stores; see New York from above; stroll through Central Park; or marvel at the magic of Times Square. These are just some of the plans that await you in the city. You will also have the opportunity to experience diversity thanks to neighborhoods like Chinatown, Little Italy, the Bronx, or Williamsburg.

4. Basque Country: places to visit in July in Spain

Spain has many incredible places to visit. One of them is the Basque Country, an autonomous community located in the north of the country. It is an excellent choice because the region has many attractions and, in addition, temperatures are milder than in other areas of the country, not to mention its delicious pintxos!

5. Croatia

You can start your itinerary in Zagreb, its capital. It is worth visiting its cathedral and the surrounding walls, built to defend against the invasion of the Turks. Lose yourself in its picturesque streets and stroll through the Dolac Market. Do not miss Dubrovnik, a beautiful city.

Indonesia is a beautiful island country located between Southeast Asia and Oceania. In recent years, its popularity as a tourist destination has continued to grow. Unlike other countries in the area, where it is the rainy season, July is a good month to travel to Indonesia.

This nation is made up of thousands of islands. Although Bali is the most well-known, the country also has many other fascinating places, such as the Nusa Islands, Lombok, the Gili Islands, Raja Ampat, Borneo, the Island of Flores, Komodo, and Sumatra.
